Pendo Kamili Love Served in Every Meal

Inspiring action with compassion and purpose

Our Vision

At Pendo Kamili, we serve with one purpose — to show the love of Jesus Christ through practical care. Every Saturday, we provide a hot, nourishing meal to children in need. For just $1, a child not only receives food, but also a powerful message: you are loved, you are seen, and God has not forgotten you.

But hunger doesn’t stop at the child. Many families are struggling to meet daily needs. That’s why we also offer food baskets valued at Ksh 3,000 (approximately $20 USD) — packed with essential items to help sustain a household for several days.

Each meal, each basket, is more than aid — it’s an opportunity to share Pendo Kamili, the complete love of Christ. We believe this kind of love meets people right where they are — in the middle of hardship — and offers hope that heals both body and soul."

Hope is On the Menu

The Saturday Feeding Program began with a small dream: that no one in Kiambiu would go hungry. Now, it’s a rhythm of grace — volunteers stirring pots, serving plates, and offering kindness without condition. It’s not just about food; it’s about dignity, joy, and love made visible. Around these tables, strangers become neighbors, and hunger gives way to hope.

One meal at a time, we are learning what it means to live as if everyone’s well-being is our own.

Chakula Cha Upendo

At Chakula Cha Upendo, we believe love looks like something—sometimes, it looks like a basket of food. Inside each one, there’s sugar and ugali, rice and beans, a little oil for cooking, and a whole lot of grace. These baskets go to single mothers who are holding their families together, often with nothing but courage and prayer. We hand them over with gentleness, not as charity, but as kinship. Because love, the kind Jesus talked about, shows up in the ordinary things—in shared meals, full bellies, and the quiet dignity of knowing you’re not forgotten.

Support for Communities

At Pendo Kamili, we believe in small, steady acts of love — a shared meal, a kind word, a moment of hope. Each Saturday, we gather around to feed bodies and lift hearts.

Your support helps us keep showing up weekly — turning generosity into nourishment, and compassion into community. Together, we’re building a story of belonging, one meal and one neighbor at a time.

“Sometimes love is as simple as a meal shared, a story heard, a hand held. That’s where healing begins.”
